Community Placements

The Junior League of Greenville offers a two-prong approach to supporting our community. First, the profits generated primarily through The Nearly New Shop are dispersed in the form of grant monies to agencies in the Greenville Community each year. Second, and what sets us apart from many other organizations, is that we offer volunteers to other non-profit agencies throughout the Greenville Community. Our members can choose to volunteer their time at these agencies by selecting a particular Placement at the agency. For example, a member might choose to be a Childcare Advocate at Safe Harbor or a Patient Screener at the Greenville Free Medical Clinic. Members can choose from many different Placements at various agencies to complete their 40 hours/year volunteer obligation. Please complete the Placement Request form if your non-profit agency is interested in offering our members Community Placements.
