With living costs rising due to inflation, upward economic mobility is becoming harder than ever in Upstate SC. Fortunately, we have amazing community partners like United Ministries that are working around the clock to help the residents of Greenville and the surrounding area better their lives. On Thursday, January 19 at 12 PM, JLG’s Education Committee will host a community conversation with a representative from our partner organization United Ministries to shine a spotlight on homelessness, poverty and their programs to help impacted people get the resources they need. While you may not be in a situation where you require assistance, you may know someone who could benefit. At the very least, you may be inspired to help those in need this winter (and beyond).
