How to Join 

Apply to Join in Four Easy Steps:

  1. Create a Profile in our system with this link.
  2. Pay the $25 application fee 
  3. Attend a New Member Information Session
  4. Complete the forms and submit Provisional Member Dues by June 30th

Why Join JLG? 

Leadership Development: 

Develop leadership skills through targeted trainings and hands-on experience gained by actively participating on committees. Previous trainings have included:

  • Empowerment, Inclusion and Leadership: Bringing Health Awareness to our Community

Community Impact in Greenville 

You will engage in meaningful community impact efforts alongside your fellow JLG Members. JLG Members have:

  • Completed hands-on volunteering at local non-profit organizations
  • Participated in area beautification efforts 
  • Collected supplies to meet various needs throughout Greenville 

Develop Connections: 

Form lasting friendships with a diverse group of women. Connect easily through engaging socials and shared-interest events. JLG has offered: 

  • Monthly Book Club and Mahjong Club 
  • Special Interest Groups that have included Wine & Dine, Pickleball, Mom & Me, Dog Moms, Workout Group  
  • All-Member Socials

Eligibility

  • Must be at least 21 years old by May 31st of the year in which Provisional Membership would begin. 
  • Be a current resident of the Greater Greenville Area. 
  • Demonstrate an interest in volunteerism and a commitment to community service.
  • Show an interest in developing her potential in voluntary community participation.

The Recruitment Committee invites you to join one of our upcoming Socials or New Member Information Sessions to meet current members and answer any questions you may have about the League and what your first year will look like.

  • Tuesday, June 23, Hey Day at 6 pm
  • Wednesday, June 24, Junior League of Greenville Headquarters at 6 pm
  • Tuesday, June 30, Junior League of Greenville Headquarters at 6 pm
  • Wednesday, July 8, The Commons at 10 am
  • Saturday, July 11, Yee Haw at 12 pm
  • Wednesday, July 15, Prosecco with the President at 6 pm
  • Tuesday, July 28, Junior League of Greenville Headquarters at 6 pm

What to Expect As a Provisional Member: 

  • Learn About JLG and Its Impact
  • Receive Guidance From Experienced Members
  • Get Involved in JLG Trainings, Service Events, and Socials

The 2026-2027 Provisional Class begins in August. Provisional Member Requirements:

  • Complete JLG 101 Orientation
  • Attend four General Membership Meetings
  • Attend one Leadership Training Event
  • Complete five Provisional Course Sessions
  • Volunteer 30 hours at the Nearly New Shop, JLG’s Resale Boutique (Volunteer shifts can begin in June 2026)
  • Serve the League at a Service Shift for a JLG Project or Fundraiser Shift for a JLG project or fundraiser (4 hours)
  • Contribute to a JLG Fundraiser ($40)
  • Donate in-kind donations to support the Nearly New Shop ($30 worth of housewares, $70 worth of clothing)
  • Complete the annual online Placement Matching Process
  • Pay the Active Member Dues of $180 due by March 31, 2027
  • Participate in optional social and membership events to connect with fellow Members

Provisional member dues are $240. Payment plans are available.
