Letter from President

It is my honor to serve as the 97th President of the Junior League of Greenville for the 2026–2027 League year. When I joined the League in 2009, I was seeking connection, purpose, and a way to contribute meaningfully to my new community. What I found was a powerful network of women who lead with compassion, vision, and determination. This organization has shaped me personally and professionally, and it is a privilege to now help guide it into its next chapter.

Since 1929, the Junior League of Greenville has been a driving force behind some of our community’s most transformative institutions and initiatives. Our members stood at the forefront of the revitalization of Downtown Greenville and the Nicholtown neighborhood, and helped establish Pendleton Place, the Peace Center, and the Children’s Museum of the Upstate—organizations that continue to strengthen families, expand access to the arts, and inspire curiosity in children across the Upstate. This legacy of building, supporting, and sustaining meaningful community resources is woven into the fabric of who we are.

As we begin this new League year, I am inspired by the women who came before us and energized by the possibilities ahead. Our membership continues to grow, our partnerships deepen, and our Nearly New Shop remains a cornerstone of both community support and League sustainability. Together, we will imagine new ways to serve, inspire one another through leadership, and make a lasting impact across the Upstate.

We continue this proud tradition through our Community Impact Pillars: advancing education and culture, improving health and wellness, mitigating crises and promoting safety, and overcoming poverty and financial instability. These pillars guide our work and ensure that our efforts remain aligned with the evolving needs of Greenville.

This year also brings us one step closer to a remarkable milestone—our Centennial anniversary in 2029. As we look ahead to celebrating 100 years of women leading change, we honor the generations who came before us and embrace the responsibility of shaping the League’s future with intention, creativity, and purpose.

Your support of the Junior League of Greenville fuels our mission and strengthens our collective purpose. Thank you for believing in the power of women to transform communities and for being part of this incredible journey. Together we will Imagine. Inspire. Impact.

With commitment to our impact,
Elizabeth DuBose
