Junior League of Greenville Scholarship

The Junior League of Greenville is proud to announce that applications for the 2026 Junior League of Greenville Scholarship are now closed.

For the 2026 cycle, the $1,000 Scholarship is in honor of Kristy Way Buchanan, a long-time JLG Member who has dedicated her career to elementary education. We aim to empower females who are passionate about shaping the future through education and community involvement.

The scholarship is made possible by generous donations from JLG Members and sponsors. The scholarship donations can be made in honor of a deserving League Member, and their names will be included that year in all promotions (social media, JLG communications, and Greenville community publications). If you are interested in making a donation for a future JLG Scholarship, please contact information@jlgreenville.org.

Meet Stella Warren-Page, 2025 JLG Scholarship Winner

Congratulations to Stella Warren-Page, the 2025 JLG Scholarship winner! Stella is pursuing a dual degree Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Ceramics and a Bachelor of Business Administration. Throughout high school at the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, Stella has demonstrated an impressive dedication to service — from cleaning up the Reedy River after Hurricane Helene to handing out Halloween candy at the Children’s Museum. For the past two years, she’s been a regular volunteer with ReCraft, a recycled art supply store that makes creative opportunities accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status. Stella’s dream is to return to Greenville after college to open her own pottery studio — a space where she can not only create and sell her own work, but also host workshops and classes so others in the community can experience the transformative power of ceramics

As an organization of women whose Mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact and help women overcome barriers, the Junior League of Greenville (JLG) is proud to offer an annual Junior League of Greenville Scholarship. The JLG Scholarship is designed to assist Greenville County women who aspire to advance their education, build their professional skills, and become community leaders. This initiative supports education and training for study at colleges, universities, vocational, or technical schools.

The scholarship can be used for tuition, non-degree certifications, or professional licensing fees. Up to $1,000 will be awarded to support educational expenses incurred in the calendar year the scholarship is given. Scholarship funds will be awarded directly to the program when the applicant has been accepted or enrolled.

The scholarship is open to women age 16+ living in Greenville County looking to further their education. JLG Members are not eligible but are strongly encouraged to share the application with friends, colleagues, and community organizations. Children of JLG Members may apply, however, as long as they themselves are not Members.

The scholarship is made possible by generous donations from JLG Members and sponsors. The scholarship donations can be made in honor of a deserving League Member and their names will be included that year in all promotion (social media, JLG communications and Greenville community publications).
